Orders

Purchase orders must provide your company name, bill to and ship to address, telephone and fax number, purchase order number, shipping instructions, date required, part number, quantity and price quoted. Upon receipt of your order MIC will process your order immediately unless payment terms have not been agreed upon. Once your order has been processed, your order may not be canceled if units ordered are non-standard products or products that have been modified or manufactured to your specifications.

Payment Terms

Payment is net twenty (20) days from date of invoice to customers with approved credit. If you wish to apply for credit with MIC, please forward 3 trade references and 1 bank reference. These references must include company/bank name, address, telephone number and fax number. Please allow sufficient time for credit approval. MIC reserves the right to rescind its acceptance of your order in the event payments for shipments have not been made.

Additional payment options are as follows: American Express, Mastercard, Visa, EFT, Cashiers/Certified Check, Check in advance and C.O.D.

Shipping and Handling Charges

All orders are shipped FOB Chicago, Illinois. Orders will be shipped prepaid and added to the invoice, billed collect or billed to a 3rd party. A handling charge of $2.00 is added to every order. In addition, all shipments will be fully insured unless otherwise stated on your order.

If your shipment has been damaged in transit, you must keep the shipping container and note this on the carriers freight bill. The package must be inspected immediately and the carrier must be notified to initiate a claim.

Return Policy

Returns will be not be accepted for non-standard items, custom designed items or items modified to suit your requirements. All other returns must be made within ninety (90) days from the MIC invoice date. Units must be new, in unopened cartons. Parts that have been misused, modified or have been soldered cannot be returned. A credit will be given for the unit price less shipping charges to and from and a minimum service charge of 20% of the invoice value to cover cost of unpacking and inspecting.
Units returned for defects in the manufacture, or MIC errors in shipment, will be accepted with a full credit including freight charges. If the unit returned is found to be defect free, the purchaser will be charged a $25.00 inspection fee and the unit will be returned once a purchase order has been issued for the inspection fee.

Repair Orders

Repairs do not require an RMA number. Please provide a packing slip that indicates a contact name and telephone number. All units being returned for repair will be inspected and you will be notified of the cost to repair or replace the product. If you choose to repair the product, the $25.00 inspection fee will be waived.

Product Liability

Products sold are not recommended for use in critical applications such as life support devices, surgical implantation, aircraft or nuclear applications. Purchaser accepts that MIC will not be held liable for any claims, damages, loss, cost expense or liability from the use of our products in the above mentioned applications. Purchaser is responsible for determining the suitability for use in their applications. MIC does offer engineering assistance and may make product suggestions but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the assistance and/or suggestion.
